More international accolades for Canterbury’s health system
The Canterbury Clinical Network has been selected as a finalist for an international award recognising excellence in health innovation and quality improvement.
The Canterbury health alliance is a finalist in the 2015 Ko Awatea International Excellence in Health Improvement Awards in the category of Working Seamlessly across Organisations.
Announced on Friday evening, the Canterbury Clinical Network is one of three entrants shortlisted in its category from 105 submissions from across New Zealand, Australia, India, Singapore, Alaska, UK and America.
The announcement follows the alliance accepting the supreme Prime Minister’s Award for Public Sector Excellence at the 2015 Deloitte Fujitsu Public Sector Excellence Awards as well as the Treasury Award for Excellence in Improving Public Value through Business Transformation last month (July 2015).
