New appointments at NZTE

New appointments at NZTE
Auckland, 4 August 2015: New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) has made several new appointments recently.
Heather Harris joined NZTE in January 2015 as General Manager Internal Partners. Heather is responsible for the delivery of corporate support services and systems. Before joining NZTE, Heather worked for the Auckland Council where she led a team of 600 people delivering resource consents.
Clare Wilson took up the role of Regional Director Australia Pacific in March of this year. Based in Sydney, Clare oversees NZTE’s Sydney and Melbourne offices, as well the office in Papua New Guinea, which opens later this year. Prior to this role, Clare was the Trade Commissioner and Consul General for Italy, based in Milan.
Nick Fleming joined NZTE’s North America team in July as Trade Commissioner and Consul General in Vancouver overseeing NZTE’s activity in Canada. Prior to taking up this role, Nick was NZTE’s Taranaki regional manager based in New Plymouth where he worked with businesses in the specialised manufacturing and food and beverage sectors.
Jane Cunliffe took up the role of Trade Commissioner in New Delhi in early July. Prior to joining NZTE’s India team Jane was based in Wellington leading NZTE’s relationships with other NZ Inc partners. Jane has significant international experience having previously held roles in New York, Milan, Suva and Port Moresby with NZTE.
Chris Tozer is NZTE’s inaugural Trade Commissioner in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prior to taking up this position, Chris was NZTE’s Private Secretary to the office of the Hon Tim Groser, New Zealand’s Minister of Trade and Climate Change. Chris has held a number of roles with NZTE, including Trade Commissioner in New York and a Customer Manager based in Auckland.
