Community Post applications open
New Zealand Post is looking forward to once again donating over a million postage-included envelopes to community groups through Community Post.
Applications open this weekend for the 2015 round of Community Post. Last year more than 2,300 groups received a total of 1.3 million postage-included envelopes from New Zealand Post. Five of the larger groups also received free direct marketing assistance. This year the same amount of envelopes and services will be available.
To qualify for Community Post donations, applicants must be not-for-profit organisations. They can be a local, regional or national group, and will need to demonstrate how their community projects support literacy and education, health and wellbeing, or the development of business partnerships.
“We’re pleased to be able to make a difference in local communities by helping people reach out and communicate with others through Community Post,” says New Zealand Post sponsorship spokesperson Jo Avenell.
“Whether it’s fund raising for a special project or developing a data-base of sponsors, New Zealand Post can help with our Community Post donations of postal services,” says Jo Avenell.
Applications open on 1 August 2015 and close at 5pm on 31 August 2015. More information can be found on the New Zealand Post website www.nzpost.co.nz/communitypost
