Elders’ Stu Chapman to depart new Carrfields business
Carrfields Group Managing Director, Craig Carr, has announced that Elders New Zealand (Elders) Managing Director Stu Chapman will leave the business during August 2015.
Following the Carr Group’s acquisition of the Elders New Zealand business in August 2014, Chapman a former shareholder in the Elders agri-based business, agreed to continue working in his Managing Director role during the sale and subsequent management handover.
Chapman will finish on Friday 14 August, 2015 and will continue to serve as a Director on the Elders Primary Wool board - which extends to NZ Yarn, Wool Exports NZ and Wool Marketing Enterprises (Just Shorn). He will continue to serve as a Director on the Elders International NZ Live Export business board - a joint venture business with Elders Australia.
Chapman’s career with Elders New Zealand spans 21 years, having grown the business to be an agri-market leader particularly in Livestock and Wool.
Businesses formerly managed by Chapman will report to Craig Carr effective 1 August 2015.
