New HR Head at Crown Entity
Public Trust employer of 350 staff nationwide announces the key appointment of Ms Karen Hutson to the role of General Manager Human Resources.
Prior to the appointment with New Zealand’s largest trustee service and Crown Entity, Hutson was based offshore as Head of HR Business Partnering for multinational insurance corporate, IAG an $11billion + company employing over 15,000 employees.
She has extensive experience in both operational and strategic HR management particularly in multifaceted transformation programs of scale.

Former NZ employers include Tyco, the world’s largest fire protection and security company with 69,000 employees in 50 countries, and various other private and public companies within the United Kingdom
British-born Hutson has a Master of Arts from the University of Westminster, London, Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology and is an alumni of the highly esteemed ‘Global Women’ intensive leadership programme.
She is a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ).
