Crown Entity, Public Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Simeon Wright as Chief Financial Officer.

Wright joins a talented line up of fresh faces joining the evolving executive team that are revitalising and transforming the 142 year old organisation.

“Commercially Simeon is known for getting things done and boosts Public Trust tremendously with his invaluable international track record of focussed leadership and strategy development” says Chief Executive Officer, Mr Bob Smith.

The New Zealand-born financial executive has a wealth of high-level commercial, financial and treasury experience gained from tenures both off-shore and in New Zealand.

For the last seven years he has been retained in top global finance roles and been part of the senior leadership team of a Fortune 500 company and for a global giant with 470,000 employees in 50 countries.

Key highlights of Mr Wright’s career include developing a successful government bid for a multinational organisation, establishing and managing a global treasury function. He turned around fluctuating profits by significantly reducing debt legacies to almost half and was instrumental in leading innovative cost saving initiatives that achieved savings of $1million during the global financial crisis.
