Russell McVeagh shortlisted for Dispute Resolution awards

Russell McVeagh's Litigation team has been recognised on the shortlist for Asialaw's inaugural Asia-Pacific Dispute Resolution Awards.

The awards celebrate the foremost leaders in dispute resolution across 14 jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Russell McVeagh's Litigation team has been shortlisted for New Zealand Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year. The firm awards highlight the leading teams for handling disputes across a range of industries in their jurisdiction.

Russell McVeagh partner Adrian Olney has also been shortlisted for New Zealand Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year.

Based in our Wellington office, Adrian is a commercial litigator with extensive experience in class/representative proceedings, financial services, oil and gas, and telecommunications disputes. In 2014 he led a successful defence of Credit Suisse in a $200m securities class action in the New Zealand High Court - the first securities 'class action' in the country.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong on 24 September 2014.
