Retail NZ appoints FlexiTime as preferred supplier of payroll software

FlexiTime has today been announced as Retail NZ’s preferred supplier of payroll and time management software.

“Managing payroll, public holiday entitlements and PAYE can be complex for small businesses,” Retail NZ Chief Executive Mark Johnston said today. “Retail NZ is pleased to announce a new partnership with FlexiTime, that will streamline these processes for retailers”.

FlexiTime Chief Executive Robert Owen says FlexiTime has a range of features for companies with part time and casual staff that makes it a great fit for retail businesses.

“Retailers often employ staff on a casual basis or on short term contracts to cover busy periods. These arrangements typically make payroll and holiday pay calculations much more difficult,” said Mr Owen.

“We designed FlexiTime to make life easier for business owners by streamlining the process of rostering, recording accurate timesheets and paying staff.”

With FlexiTime, retailers can create weekly rosters across multiple stores and then record accurate timesheets by having staff clock in and out of the timeclock app. Those time entries appear in FlexiTime, ready to process payroll.

FlexiTime automatically calculates complex public holiday entitlements for employees based on historical work patterns, eliminating the need for manual calculations.

“Not only do business owners save a lot of time and hassle, but they also save a significant amount of money on their wage bill as well, by capturing employee time to the minute”.

FlexiTime integrates with Xero and MYOB AccountRight so customers can automatically send wages data to their accounting system.

Retail NZ members will receive a discount on their FlexiTime monthly subscription.
