And the people have spoken…
Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme has been awarded the inaugural Consumer NZ People’s Choice Award for 2015. Consumer NZ recently surveyed nearly 5000 of its members about their satisfaction with the standard of customer service and information available from their KiwiSaver provider. Ninety percent of survey respondents who are members of Kiwi Wealth rated its performance as “good” or “very good”.
Kiwi Wealth currently has over 130,000 KiwiSaver scheme members, with more than $2.2bn funds under management.
Joe Bishop, Head of Retail Wealth and Marketing, said “Our KiwiSaver scheme is often chosen by people as standing out from the crowd. Our communication style and frequency of reporting resonates with people who want to understand what’s going on with their money and take control of their future plans. Not just retirement but first home buying as well.”
“We’re delighted to receive this award, which caps off a strong year for Kiwi Wealth.”
Consumer NZ CEO, Sue Chetwin presented the award in person last week (see attached photo), saying Kiwi Wealth customers were impressed with its communications. Over ninety percent felt Kiwi Wealth’s statements contained the information they needed and were easy to understand.
“Most New Zealanders still think of KiwiSaver as a savings product rather than an investment in their future. Through our reporting, our members can see where their money is invested right down to individual shares and currencies – not just as a savings balance within their internet banking,” Mr Bishop added.
