Symantec Appoints Ian McAdam as Managing Director for Pacific
SYDNEY, Australia – July 8, 2015 – Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced the appointment of Ian McAdam as Managing Director for the Pacific region, encompassing Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, McAdam will be responsible for leading and driving growth across Symantec’s enterprise security business and supporting customers and partners in Pacific. Reporting to Sanjay Rohatgi, Senior Vice President – Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan, McAdam will also be charged with growing the company’s presence and market position across the region.
An industry veteran, McAdam has held several senior management roles with various organisations. He joins Symantec from Oracle where he was most recently the Vice President of Applications for Australia and New Zealand. In this role he was responsible for the sales of all on premise and cloud Application solutions. Prior to that, McAdam was the Vice President of eServGlobal Limited.

McAdam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bond University.
