Deloitte has announced the appointment of Paul Brabin as a new Auckland-based consulting partner effective from 1 July. He joins Deloitte from PwC.

Mr Brabin has extensive strategy, commercial management and technology experience built over 24 years’ working in senior commercial and business technology transformation leadership roles. He brings a deep digital business strategy development and implementation expertise to his new role.

He has most recently held a Digital Market and Technology Consulting Practice leader role in New Zealand. Prior, Mr Brabin’s impressive CV includes leadership roles at Redgroup Retail, Fonterra and James Hardie Australia.

Deloitte CEO Thomas Pippos says the ability to attract top notch talent of Mr Brabin’s calibre demonstrates Deloitte’s continued growth in the New Zealand market and its reputation as an employer of choice in the professional services industry.

“Paul has a strong consulting background and an exceptional track record in a variety of leadership roles in industry both in New Zealand and overseas. He brings a high level of capability and deep subject matter expertise to our consulting practice,” says Mr Pippos.

Mr Brabin says Deloitte provides a good cultural fit and aligns well with his personal values.

“I enjoy working in a collaborative environment where reward and recognition are based on team outcomes. At Deloitte I’ll be able to continue to grow both personally and professionally through challenge and a strong peer network,” says Mr Brabin.

“Deloitte has put together an enviably strong team, particularly in the technology and digital consulting space, and I’m looking forward to joining my new colleagues to make an impact that matters for our clients.”
