Ultrafast Fibre update on lower North Island network

Ultrafast Fibre update on lower North Island network

Ultrafast Fibre is sending its best wishes and support to Mayor Annette Main, her team and the people of Whanganui and those districts affected by recent floods and landslips.

Ultrafast Fibre is working with authorities while it establishes what is required to ensure the ultra fast broadband network (UFB) remains operational.

At this point Ultrafast Fibre is not aware of any network outages caused by the flooding.

However, it is likely the full impact of the floods will not be known until the waters have receded and residents are allowed back into their homes.

Ultrafast Fibre’s networks outside of the flooded areas remain operational as normal.

Ultrafast Fibre encourages anyone experiencing an issue with their broadband to contact their retail service provider in the first instance.
