Quest Serviced Apartments to open new property in Nelson
Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing serviced apartment operator is opening a new property in Nelson.
Quest Serviced Apartments latest property, Quest Nelson, features 40 studio, one and two bedroom apartments. It is due to open on 22 June.
Each serviced apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, private laundry and spacious living and dining areas. Other amenities include Quest’s pantry shopping service, high-speed internet access, chargeback facilities with local restaurants, valet dry cleaning and secure onsite car parking.
In addition to Quest Nelson, a further two new purpose built Quest properties are set to open this year at key locations in Taupo and Whangarei. The new openings will add to Quest’s growing network in New Zealand taking the total number of properties it operates here to 37.
Located on Collingwood Street, Quest Nelson is close to the centre of town and is a short walk to other attractions including the Queens Gardens, Rutherford Park and the Maitai River.
This is Quest’s first property in Nelson and provides another accommodation option for business and leisure travellers who visit the city.
Quest Serviced Apartments New Zealand CEO Stephen Mansfield says: “This is an exciting project for Quest and the city of Nelson,” he says. “Nelson is a strong market popular with both domestic and international travellers with demand for high-quality, flexible accommodation on the rise.
“Opening a property in Nelson is an important step for Quest as we expand our footprint across New Zealand. We expect the demand for Quest Nelson to be high as guests seek high-quality accommodation located close to the city centre.”
Quest on Nelson’s newly appointed franchise director has been with the company for eight years and was previously the franchise director for Quest Palmerston North and Quest on Eden in Auckland.
Quest Serviced Apartments is expected to grow its property portfolio across Australasia this year with 12 new properties opening in Australia and three in New Zealand.
“Quest has enjoyed fantastic success and growth by consistently delivering value to our guests,” says Mansfield. “Strong demand for high-quality serviced apartment accommodation is driving future growth plans which will amplify Quest’s brand presence across Australasia. We are looking forward to welcoming guests to Quest Nelson.”
