SCEE and Sony Mobile sign sponsorship deal until 2018
22nd May 2015, Auckland: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and Sony Mobile Communications today confirmed a three year global partnership as Official Partners of the UEFA Champions League for seasons 2015 to 2018. This agreement will include the UEFA Super Cup 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well as the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final and UEFA Youth League Finals.
PlayStation has been a long-standing Official Gaming Partner of the UEFA Champions League. The extension of this sponsorship represents the continued commitment to Europe’s most prestigious club football competition, which has seen the brand delivering incredible content and gaming experiences to millions of fans.

Sony Mobile, with its innovative range of Xperia smartphones and tablets, as well as unique SmartWear products, is uniquely placed to engage with fans both in the stadium and the digital arena, through enriching mobile content experiences.

As Official Partners, PlayStation and Sony Mobile will enjoy extensive rights to the matches, pre-match training sessions, media, hospitality, events including the Final, as well as the exclusive digital partnership on UEFA.com.
Commenting on the agreement, Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Events SA Marketing Director, said: “We are very pleased that Sony has extended its sponsorship as we will continue to work closely with PlayStation but we now also welcome Sony Xperia into the partnership.
