Barfoot & Thompson internationally recognised with trifecta of awards

Auckland real estate agency Barfoot & Thompson has picked up a trifecta of prestigious honours at the Asia Pacific Property Awards Summit hosted in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend.

The family-owned and operated company was presented with:
· Best Real Estate Agency New Zealand, recognising the leading real estate provider in the country based on a wide range of criteria including service delivery, marketing and innovation;

· Best Lettings Agency New Zealand, recognising the best in property management services in New Zealand; and
· Best Real Estate Agency Marketing New Zealand for outstanding management and results in the marketing of Orakei Bay Village, a project completed with the assistance of Voice Brand Agency and in consultation with Development Advisory Services Limited (DASL).

The Asia Pacific Property Awards, part of the world-renowned International Property Awards, celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies in all sectors of the property industry, attracting premier developers, architects, interior designers and real estate professionals from around the globe.

Competition between entrants in the Asia Pacific region was particularly strong this year, with companies from 25 countries vying for recognition across every category. Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, says, “It is immensely gratifying to be presented with such levels of excellence and be in a position to reward and promote winning companies not only regionally but also internationally.”

Barfoot & Thompson Managing Director Peter Thompson says being recognised as the best provider in all three categories entered is a fantastic achievement.

As five-star winners Barfoot & Thompson will represent the Asia Pacific region at the International Awards in London later this year, contending for World’s Best Awards in each of the three categories.

This is the second year in a row Barfoot & Thompson has won Best Real Estate Agency New Zealand at the Asia Pacific Property Awards.
