Emirates Increases Flights to Beirut – Better NZ Connections


Emirates will gradually increase its services between Dubai and Beirut with a third daily flight, fully effective on 1 October. The addition of this service will take the total number of weekly Emirates flights serving Lebanon to 21.

Timings have been scheduled to facilitate more effective connections at Dubai with Emirates services to and from the United States as well as Australia and New Zealand.

The third daily flight will be serviced by the 267 seat A340-300 in a three class configuration. EK 955 departs Dubai at 2055hrs arriving in Beirut at 0005hrs the next day. EK 956 leaves Beirut at 0200hrs, arriving in Dubai at 0710hrs.

Cabins on the A340-300 are equipped with Emirates’ ice entertainment system with hundreds of channels of on-demand entertainment to choose in First Class and Business Class. In Economy Class, passengers can enjoy a selection of the latest international movies, TV shows, music and games.

As with all Emirates flights, passengers on the Beirut service will enjoy the generous Emirates baggage allowance of 30kg in Economy Class, 40 kg in Business Class and 50kg in First Class.

Emirates has three A380 flights daily from Auckland to Dubai and beyond via Australia, as well as a daily Boeing 777-300ER service from Christchurch.
