Skinny Announces NZ’s Cheapest Prepay Data Deal

50 per cent of Gen Y says data is #1 on mobile

AUCKLAND, NZ – According to new research from Canstar Blue, at least half of New Zealand’s Gen Y population places more value on data than call minutes or texts.

So for Gen Y and all of those data lovers out there, Skinny just keeps the good news rolling. The leading value-driven mobile provider just announced New Zealand’s cheapest 1GB prepay data rate – a whopping 1GB of data for just $10.

“Skinny is always listening. Kiwis are placing much greater importance on data and of course they want it cheaper, so we’re making it happen,” said Ross Parker, General Manager of Skinny Mobile.

“We’re on a mission to keep our customers happy by delivering great value and we’ll pull out all the stops to do so.”

With any of Skinny’s great value $16, $26, $46 Monthly Combos, customers can select a 1GB Add-On for only $10 (which lasts for 30 days) before June 30. This means consumers will be paying as little as 1 cent a megabyte.
