New Zealand, Auckland – Tuesday 10th March 2015– Snapper Network Distributors (SnapperNet), the data communication products distributor for IT service providers, has announced a new distribution agreement and partnership with Maxon Australia, the leaders in innovative wireless M2M technology across the Asia Pacific region.
For the first time in New Zealand, SnapperNet will offer Maxon’s range of modem/routers providing diverse connectivity options. Richard Paul, Managing Director for SnapperNet, says organisations have been looking for the kind of technology solution that Maxon offers for some time now.
“Maxon is a perfect fit to meet our customers’ demands,” he says. “When looking for access to remote devices out of band or needing a failover or main router, they can use Maxon as their complete solution. Our MOBOTIX customers for example can connect to their IP cameras using Maxon across 3G or 4G.”
Maxon Australia entered the market in 1989 as a provider of two way and RF data radio technology. In 2004 they released the world’s first USB modem and now focus on 3G and 4G modem and router technologies for both the corporate and industrial markets.
According to Rick Wong, General Manager at Maxon Australia, there were three key reasons for partnering with SnapperNet. “SnapperNet has a robust network of local channel partners, strong professional standards and an intrinsic attention to detail, which we believe will provide Maxon with an added advantage in the New Zealand market,” he says.
“New Zealand is an innovative standalone market of early adopters,” Wong continues, “so it’s a very important market for us. Our goal is to provide solutions through a reliable and proactive distribution network that is also capable of providing the follow up technical support and training to end users that Maxon is renowned for. SnapperNet’s reputable service and focus on partnerships were standout qualities that made them the obvious choice as partner.”
Paul is equally enthusiastic about the new relationship. “Maxon are a standout in the marketplace and we’re excited to be able to offer their range of products in New Zealand to the channel,” he says.
