Rural broadband supplier signs deal with PGG Wrightson
Cutting-edge ISP Wireless Nation has signed an agreement with nationwide rural supplier PGG Wrightson making it even
simpler for farmers to access and pay for fast and reliable internet services.
PGG Wrightson’s 90,000 trade account holders will now be able pay for their broadband through their PGG Monthly Trade
Account. They also receive a special offer on their rural broadband and VoIP phone plans.
This will see Wireless Nation’s rural internet solutions promoted through PGG Wrightson’s retail stores and on-farm
technical representatives.

becoming critical for many farmers and Wireless Nation provides a cost-effective solution no matter where they are in

Wireless Nation is determined to bridge the digital divide and provide broadband to even the most far flung parts of New
Zealand.
It offers RBI (fixed wireless), New Zealand’s leading Satellite Broadband network, and VoIP (phone services over the
internet).
Their satellite network uses the latest technology and the powerful Optus Satellite, which has “hot” signal strength
over New Zealand, is not prone to rain fade and is available pretty much everywhere in the country.
The ISP has recently doubled its satellite network speeds, with increased download speed of up to 10Mbps. This is much
quicker than competing satellite networks, and is also comparable to standard city broadband.
This means faster web browsing, speedier downloading of email attachments, and allows video streaming in even higher
quality. The extra speed comes at no extra cost and has made a big difference to Wireless Nation’s customers.
“The satellite connection is very good, latency is low which has enabled our business to use certain desktop
applications we haven’t been able to before,” says PGG Wrightson member Terence Galuszka, who lives in Wainuioru and
previously only had dial-up internet before switching to Wireless Nation’s Satellite Broadband. “The PGG Wrightson deal
has really helped with the extra data bundle and the carry over data is a life saver.”
Wireless Nation has installers throughout the country and is well prepared for an influx of new customers.
