19th year for Fidelity Life’s ‘excellent’ financial rating
New Zealand-owned life insurance company, Fidelity Life, has been awarded an A- (Excellent) financial strength rating for the nineteenth consecutive year.
The rating was reaffirmed by global credit rating agency for the insurance industry, A.M. Best. Fidelity Life was first awarded its A- (Excellent) rating in December 1996.
“This excellent financial strength rating again reflects a consistent show of confidence in Fidelity Life, which has continued for close to two decades. A.M. Best has also declared our long-term outlook as stable, which provides continuing confidence for our customers,” said Chief Executive Milton Jennings.
The affirmations reflect Fidelity Life’s adequate risk-based capitalisation, favourable liquidity position and consistent operating results.
Founded in 1899, A.M. Best is the world's oldest insurance rating and information source. The A.M. Best financial strength rating relates to Fidelity Life’s insurance and investment business. The scale of which this rating forms part of is available from Fidelity Life.
