SBS Bank to support drought affected farmers
SBS Bank
has announced its continued support for drought-affected
farmers in Canterbury, Central and North Otago and
Marlborough.
SBS Bank General Manager of Agribusiness Jared Stockman said his team would continue to work alongside rural members to offer targeted financial advice and assistance.
“SBS Bank has been an integral part of the rural landscape for over 145 years. The key to our longevity has been our ability to create individual solutions for our members.
“We never have been, and never will be, a ‘one size fits all’ type of bank.
We take a slightly different approach by providing our members with a relief package which is tailored to suit their individual situation. In many cases these can be quite complex, so SBS Bank’s ability to adapt to these situations, is a huge benefit to our members.”
Mr Stockman said the bank would continue to monitor and support areas throughout New Zealand affected by extreme dry conditions.
