Yeastie Boys raise $500k in 30 mins
Yeastie Boys cup runneth over with their equity crowdfunding campaign raising half a million dollars within 30 minutes, PledgeMe is pleased to announce.

“Yeastie Boys tapped the keg at 6 PM yesterday and less than 30 mins later the party is over and the revellers have gone home with a warm fuzzy feeling in their hearts and shares in their back pockets,” PledgeMe CEO Anna Guenther said today.

“We are really impressed with Stu and the team’s efforts in putting the campaign together and activating their crowd. This is a great success for a New Zealand company with big ambitions.

“Yeastie Boys have really shown the benefits of harnessing your crowd and bringing them into the company. Not only do they now have the capital to expand into the UK, but they have 204 shareholders who will champion the brand.”

Yeastie Boys sold 12.5% of the company for $500,000 at a dollar a share. Their first $100,000 was pledged within four minutes of the campaign going live.

While Yeastie Boys have smashed their goal in record time, there are still thirsty people out there and that’s where Yeastie Boys is focussing its attention now.

Yeastie Boys Head Boy Stu McKinlay said he was floored by the support from their crowd.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have a whole new bunch of Yeastie Boys and Girls on board.” said McKinlay.

“It’s great to be able to immediately refocus on making beer and getting it to the people who love it. It’s why we’re here and why our crowd supported us.”

“Also 30 minutes: hell yeah!,” McKinlay added.
