Pulse Boosted by Major New Deal with Mojo Coffee
17 December 2014
“One of the most exciting partnerships in the history of the Pulse,” is how CEO Carolyn Young describes the announcement of iconic New Zealand based coffee company Mojo as the team’s naming rights sponsor.
Mojo Coffee, which operates 27 unique cafés in Wellington, Auckland, Dunedin and three in Japan, will have pride of place on the players’ uniforms for the 2015 ANZ Championship in a partnership which will see these two strong brands working together on a number of different levels.
“Mojo has given the Pulse the kind of boost it has based its reputation on and we’re delighted to have them on board for 2015,” explained Young. “We share a great deal in common, as we’re both clearly focused on providing an experience which exceeds expectations, and we look forward to achieving that on and off the court next year.”
Steve Gianoutsos, who founded Mojo in 2003, said: “The Pulse are great role models within our community. They’re amazing athletes at the top of their game and as a team they have great vision and drive. Mojo is excited to be part of the team to help them achieve their goals.”
The Mojo Pulse begin their 2015 trans-Tasman campaign on 1 March away at the Melbourne Vixens. Follow @PulseNetball on twitter and Instagram for score updates and ‘like’ www.facebook.com/NetballPulse to keep up to date with all things Mojo Pulse.
Mojo Coffee is one of New Zealand’s most experienced and respected independent coffee roasters and café operators.
Importing green beans directly from source to their Wellington and Dunedin roasteries, they roast daily and distribute their premium blends and single origins to cafés, restaurants, offices and homes across the country as well as their 27 Mojo cafés – maintaining a complete ‘crop to cup’ approach.
Mojo has recently teamed up with leading New Zealand chef Martin Bosley to launch Poneke by Mojo, located on the ground floor of Wellington’s freshly redeveloped Clyde Quay Wharf.
