Peter Rickards and Ross Collett Join Board of Plus4 Insurance Group
Plus4 Insurance Solutions (Plus4),
the national insurance adviser and broking group, today
announced that it had appointed two new directors to its
board,
Peter Rickards from Nelson and Timaru-based Ross
Collett. They replace Alan Bradnock and Roger Adams who
remain members of the group; Peter and Ross join existing
Plus4 directors Grant Uridge and Jason Hennessey.
Peter Rickards is a Certified Financial Planner(cm) with over 20 years experience in the financial industry. His experience includes working for Louis Dreyfus managing their Australian farming operations and as a Director of a large merchant bank, before going into business himself. In 2002, he returned to the financial services industry and subsequently purchased a successful brokerage company in Nelson. Peter has a B.AgEc majoring in marketing and business management from the University of New England in New South Wales and is a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers.
Ross Collett is a Registered Financial Adviser providing personal insurance advice and principal of Sorted for Life Insurance, which he established in 2008. He began his financial services career in Christchurch in 1987 as an independent insurance representative. Ross has been growing his practice in South Canterbury since 1990 and has established a well known and trusted brand. He is a Member of the Professional Advisers Association Inc (PAA) and has qualified for Membership of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2000, the premier and global association of financial professionals, and has been a Life Member since 2011.
Established in 2008 in
Nelson, Plus4 now has over 30 advisers working from 12
locations between Whangarei and Invercargill. Group members,
who have no affiliations to any specific insurance provider,
offer unbiased advice tailored to their individual and
business clients’ requirements.
They work predominantly
with small to medium sized enterprises, their owners and
their accountants.
Plus4’s chairman Grant Uridge said, “We welcome Peter back onto the Plus4 board, a former director he co-founded Plus4 with Alan Bradnock, and also look forward to working with Ross. Their business experience will complement and benefit the group’s governance.
