Christmas ‘lights’ from Whitecliff
Whitecliff’s newly released 2014 low alcohol wines give Kiwi wine drinkers a refreshing, low alcohol option, perfect for Christmas festivities and to help lighten up the season of excess.
Whitecliff low alcohol Sauvignon Blanc 2014 and low alcohol Pinot Gris 2014 are ideal wines for those people wanting to enjoy the festive season but still fulfil their New Year’s resolutions to live a healthier lifestyle.
Whether it is for a Boxing Day barbecue or a casual Christmas catch up with friends, these wines from the 2014 vintage offer reduced alcohol and calories without compromising on flavour.
Whitecliff low alcohol wines are approximately 20% lighter in alcohol and calories than standard Whitecliff Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. They carry full nutritional information on their back labels.
Like all Whitecliff wines, the Whitecliff low alcohol range is perfect to bring to those quintessential kiwi summer BBQs and picnics over the holiday season.
Whitecliff Low Alcohol Sauvignon Blanc 2014
Pale straw in colour. This low alcohol wine has lively aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit – full flavoured and refreshing but lighter in alcohol and calories.
Whitecliff Low Alcohol Pinot Gris 2014
With a lovely golden colour, this lighter Pinot Gris has spicy pear aromas with hints of baking spice. Fresh and vibrant but lighter in alcohol and calories.
Both wines are ideal as an aperitif or with light summer dishes such as smoked salmon sliders.
Whitecliff low alcohol wines are available from supermarkets throughout New Zealand and have a recommended retail price of $13.99.
