Mission Estate Scoops Winestate Best Value Buy Awards

Mission Estate Scoops Winestate Best Value Buy Awards

A trio of Mission Estate wines have scooped Winestate Best Value Buy awards for 2014.

Over 10,000 wines were judged throughout the year and that list was whittled down to a Top 40 from across Australia and New Zealand.

“For a New Zealand winery to win three Best Value Buy awards is unprecedented” says Peter Jackson, Marketing Director for Winestate.

The Winestate is Australia’s oldest wine publication and its Best Value Buy Awards represent quality and value for money for wines priced at $25 or under. The three Mission Estate wines that were included in their Annual Top 40 were:

• Mission Estate Vineyard Selection Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

• Mission Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

• Mission Estate Hawke’s Bay Rose 2014

The Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has had an exceptional year and also recently received a Gold medal at the China Wine & Spirits Awards as well as Silver at both the Decanter and San Francisco Wine Awards.

Peter Holley, CEO of Mission Estate says: “we are committed to producing excellent value-for-money wines like these and the Winestate awards are an affirmation of that.” “We’re looking forward to crafting even more award-winning wines in the years to come,” added Peter.
