Countdown announces new Click & Collect services

Countdown announces new Click & Collect services

8 December 2014: As we head into the crazy Christmas season, when every spare moment is precious, Countdown is extending its time-saving Click & Collect service to more locations in the South Island which now means all stores will offer this service. FromWednesday 10 December shoppers up and down the Mainland will be able to order their groceries online and then pick them up in-store.

It’s the perfect service for busy parents, flatters and businesses looking to re-stock the office cupboards.

Mike, a father of three who has used Countdown Click & Collect in the past, says he likes the service because it’s a real time-saver.

“It’s all about splitting the household chores – my better half orders what we need online while she’s at work, and then I pick everything up on the way back from the office, or golf – depending on the weather.”

Runner, hockey player and busy office worker Frances, juggles a busy schedule - so she uses Click &Collect to multi-task.

“While I do love to stroll down the aisles and see what’s new, I’m often just too frantic and love the idea of being able to swing by and pick up the flat’s groceries while I’m running another errand. It makes sense to me, especially when I’m trying to cram so much in,” says Frances.

As online shopping booms in New Zealand with more than 50% of Kiwis searching, clicking and saving this year*– Countdown’s Click & Collect is yet another way to save time, make life that little bit easier and still be able to take advantage of great savings at Countdown.
