Crowe Horwath Opens New Office in Marlborough
Crowe Horwath is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Blenheim, specialising in audit services. It’s the first time the company has had an office in Marlborough.
Crowe Horwath Marlborough cements the company’s already strong audit services in the top-of-the-south. Heading the team is Associate Principal Simon Danson who says the new office reflects their commitment to Marlborough businesses.
“We had already been supporting Marlborough businesses, but when the opportunity came along to have a permanent physical presence in the region we jumped at it. Our investment means we can now offer clients the support and value that comes with being local,” says Simon Danson.
Crowe Horwath has bought the audit business of Angela Wood, who has chosen to exit the audit sector.
Simon Danson says: “Marlborough is a significant contributor to the national economy and we respect the vibrant industries who have invested in this region. We have the strongest audit presence in the top-of-the-south, and this new office means we can deliver our high calibre audit services more directly and easily to help support their growth.”
The new office reinforces Crowe Horwath’s position as the company with the largest national footprint for audit, tax and business advisory services, bringing their total number of offices to 24 around New Zealand. This new office, located in Youell House, 1 Hutcheson Street, Blenheim, is the third Crowe Horwath office in the top of the South Island, alongside the offices in Nelson and Tasman.
The Crowe Horwath Marlborough team:
Simon Danson has been with Crowe Horwath for approximately ten years, first as an Audit Manager and now as Associate Principal. Originally from England, he has been in the accounting and audit industry for more than 20 years. Simon works with large and small clients to provide auditing services, risk assessments and related assurance services.
Janeen Hippolite has been an Auditor for seven years and has worked in Christchurch and Blenheim. Janeen enjoys her work with not-for-profit organisations and believes a good Auditor can assist these organisations to streamline their operations. Page | 2
