Kennards Hire is one of Australia’s leading equipment hire companies. Their latest success; tertiary accreditation with Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP), is perhaps the biggest source of pride for the business so far.

WSMP recognises medium to large businesses that have implemented effective health and safety systems and practices in their workplaces. There are three levels of accreditation; secondary, primary and tertiary. Only a very small percentage of businesses applying for WSMP accreditation receive a tertiary level on their first attempt, and Kennards Hire NZ did exactly that.

Tom Kinross, General Manager of Kennards Hire New Zealand is thrilled with the level of workplace responsibility displayed by his staff and managers.

The application process is rigorous and involves written submissions, interviews with a selection of management staff and drivers, and a presentation to the WSMP board.
