Untouched World back in the White House

Media release

Untouched World back in the White House

New Zealand lifestyle brand Untouched World is finding favour in the US. Their Ecopossum™ fine Merino and possum fibre clothing was worn by none other than US President Barack Obama, as he made Thanksgiving Day calls to US troops from the Oval Office this morning.

Untouched World CEO Peri Drysdale says “It is a real coup for Untouched World to have President Obama choose our clothes on what is such an important day in the US.”

Photos of the President in Untouched World’s now famous Ecopossum™ Estuary Sweater have been flying all over US media, from ABC news, the New York Daily news and CNN to Instagram, Twitter and the White House’s own Facebook page.

Former US President Bill Clinton was also a fan of the brand. He shot their Mountainsilk™ fine Merino garments to fame, when he was snapped wearing an Untouched World polo and claimed it was the smartest garment he’d been given in his time as President. The company has since partnered with the Clinton Global Initiative to implement an Untouched World Charitable Trust (UWCT) programme focussed around water. This is one of a number of Leadership-toward-a sustainable-future programmes that the UWCT run and have seen them recognised by the United Nations for sustainability.

Untouched World produce high quality products that connect with wearers who care about the environment and sustainability. The have also just been named Best Sustainable Brand 2014 by Sublime Magazine in the UK.
