Country’s leading Motorhome Caravan & Outdoor expo will be New Zealand’s biggest ever
Demand for extra
exhibition space will see the country’s leading Motorhome
Caravan & Outdoor expo, the Covi Motorhome Caravan & Outdoor
SuperShow, the largest motorhome and caravan show ever held
in New Zealand.
A large marquee will be erected to cater for extra exhibitor space which will see over 500 square metres of additional space being added to the show’s 15,000 square metres of space already booked by exhibitors.
“Support from the motorhome and caravan industry and exhibitors has been way ahead of what we expected,” General Manager of Spot On Exhibitions David Culpan said. “We’re almost completely sold out so things are looking very good for a great show in March.”
Culpan said the show - being held at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland between the 13th and 15th of March next year - was also going to have the largest outdoor display area in the events five year history and that organisers were especially happy that the Covi SuperShow was the only show in New Zealand that will see all of New Zealand’s the major motorhome and caravan brands on display.
“We have changed from a September to March date which has been really well received, and all the major industry players are planning a range of great deals and specials specially for the show which is just fantastic.”
Celebrating New Zealand’s great outdoors with a family holiday has a long tradition which is why Culpan says the Covi SuperShow on is the perfect starting point for planning family adventures.
“The show will have the latest motorhome, caravan and camping designs and accessories all under the one roof, plus there are seminars, no reserve auctions, fantastic competitions - including the chance to win back $10,000 for any purchases made over $30,000 - and loads of information covering all elements of the outdoors lifestyle.”
The Covi SuperShow attracts thousands of visitors keen to find out about the latest products and innovations, meet with the industry’s experts and enjoy a taste of what the exciting lifestyle offers. Over 140 exhibitors, including leading brands KEA, Motek, United, Trail-Lite and Jayco will be showcasing their latest models and product innovations in March next year.
“The show is really dynamic, entertaining and packed with information and has been designed to appeal to existing and would-be motorhome, caravan and camping enthusiasts,” Culpan stressed.
“We work hard to learn from previous shows and have no doubt the March show is another step up from previous efforts. We really try to support the industry which is important and the Covi $10,000 cashback promotion is a very popular prize open to anyone buying a motorhome, caravan or fifth wheeler at the show worth over $30,000.”
Visitors will again have the chance to win the Ultimate Road Trip, a 59 day MOTEK motorhoming adventure across America, Australia and New Zealand (flights and petrol vouchers included), worth $40,000.
There will be great bargains with show specials and frequent no reserve auctions. Daily seminars will cover a range of topics from how to buy your first motorhome to overnighting options throughout New Zealand.
Adding some extra punch to the March dates for the show is legendary rock band The Eagles, who are playing at Mt Smart Stadium on the nights of Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th of March.
Cuplan said it was a great match and he expected many of the Covi SuperShow’s exhibitors and visitors to also attend one of the concerts. “We plan to run complimentary buses from the popular motorhome rally being held next to the ASB Showgrounds at Alexandra Park to the concert on both Sunday nights.”
