Bridgestone’s Pink Cap Drive for NZ Breast Cancer Foundation

One week left to show Mum massive love; Bridgestone’s Pink Cap Drive for New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation reaches $91,075

Reminder pink caps can be purchased at http://bridgestonepinkcaps.co.nz/ and in stores until end of the week Nov 28th; 100% of funds raised go to the NZBCF

Bridgestone New Zealand has seen huge support, hugs, fun and emotion in this year’s Bridgestone Pink Cap Drive which raises money for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. The campaign started on 1st October and runs till the end of this month. It has already raised $91,075 with a set target to reach $100,000 at the close of the campaign.

The iconic pink tyre valve caps can be purchased for $2 from a Bridgestone Tyre Centre, Bridgestone Select or Firestone store, and this year Bridgestone also incorporated the ability to purchase online from bridgestonepinkcaps.co.nz/.

100% of the proceeds benefit the New Zealand Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) and this year’s campaign focuses on people being able to show their best love and support for mums and all others touched by breast cancer. People were encouraged to take a photo giving these special people a squeeze (hug) and posting the shots up on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pinkcapdrive, with the hashtags#giveemasqueeze #mammogramsavelives and sharing stories and experiences.

We also want you to get talking. Remember that mammograms can find breast changes early, well before you can. Just a little squeeze or discomfort from a regular mammogram from age 40 could save your life. Anyone between the age of 45 and 69 can enrol for the free screening programme on 0800 270 200.
