Kiwi kids star on Bound Round

Kids' travel app now features in-depth NZ content

21 November 2014: Kiwi kids are the stars of new video content showcasing the best of New Zealand's family attractions and activities now featuring on the Bound Round kids' inter-active travel app.

Aimed at encouraging tweens to explore the world and help plan family holidays, Bound Round features what kids love; video content of attractions and activities complete with peer reviews, and a blog section where they can download photos and comments.

And they've given New Zealand and all it has to offer the big thumbs up.

Launched in Australia early this year, New Zealand is an integral part of the growing Bound Round offering, which is poised to extend further around the globe in coming months.

Bound Round Founder Janeece Keller says, "It's very exciting to have New Zealand featuring on the app in time for the peak summer holiday season, New Zealand is a key travel destination for Australians and vice-versa.

"We all know tweens love watching videos on-line, so what better way to showcase New Zealand than by video content featuring tweens and their feedback. Tweens are also very influential when it comes to planning family holidays and with the help of Bound Round they can plan a fantastic holiday with their parents."

Packed full of videos, photos and fun facts, Bound Round’s travel app presents kids with engaging, interactive content that shows them the best things to do as reviewed by like-minded children.

Bound Round App Specifics
Bound Round is designed for 8-12 year olds to play with before and during their holidays.

Bound Round’s guiding principle is to deliver travel content “by kids for kids”. The app presents kids’ recommendations on what to do and where to go. Before release all Bound Round content and technical developments are approved by the Bound Round Kids Board, to ensure they meet the demanding requirements of the tween market.

“Bound Round puts the elements kids love most – videos, photos, games and interactivity – at the heart of the app. This is what Bound Round is all about; content that is specifically designed for kids thanks to the input of peer-reviewers,” says Janeece.

The Bound Round interactive travel app is designed for iPhone and iPad and can be downloaded for free via WiFi and 3G through the iTunes App Store. It is also available online at http://boundround.com
