Sacred Hill Sundaze back this summer

Media Release 13 November 2014

Sacred Hill Sundaze back this summer

Sundaze at Sacred Hill’s much loved cellar door are back by popular demand this summer.

Classic country pub The Puketapu is once again teaming up with Sacred Hill Vineyards to deliver the ultimate lazy Sundayafternoon wine, food and music experience over four weekends in January and February.

Opportunities to visit Sacred Hill’s cellar door are limited, making Sundaze a popular summer gig for Hawke’s Bay visitors and locals who want to relax at the original winery site in the beautiful Dartmoor countryside,

“”We had a fantastic response to Sundaze last summer from locals and visitors alike and our team thoroughly enjoyed hosting visitors at the cellar door,” Managing Director David Mason says.

“Sundaze represents everything that Sacred Hill is about – escaping life’s distractions to spend quality time enjoying wine and food with family and friends.”

The Puketapu’s popular chefs have created a special Sundaze menu including delicious pizzas and gourmet burgers – think lamb and caramelised onion pizza with feta, alpaca burgers with horseradish cream and roast garlic aoli and many other delicious temptations.

Sacred Hill Orange Label, HALO and Special Selection wines will be served along with beer, cider and soft drinks.

Each Sundaze event will feature a different live music act to add to the flavour of the day. Daniel & Hayley Munro, Ian Munro, The Lost 45s & JR Guitars are all in the line up.
