Time To Take A Punto On A Fiat
Chic
European automotive style is now available in New Zealand
from just $98* a week with the award-winning Fiat Punto
setting a new European value benchmark with finance set as
low 2.99% across the range.
Nor have Fiat stripped out the equipment to achieve this unprecedented price.
At $98* a week, the Fiat Punto Pop includes in its equipment package air conditioning, front power windows, remote power locks and a six speaker audio system with MP3 player and steering wheel controls. Along with chic European styling and a full equipment list, the Punto Pop also has the safety boxes ticked, with six airbags, ABS brakes and Electronic Stability Control (ESP) all included in the price.
No less impressive is the entry level price of the Punto, just $17,490 plus on road costs for the Fiat Punto Pop.
The same value for money pricing also applies to the Punto Easy and the range-topping Punto Lounge. For $19,990 plus on road costs, the Punto Easy adds cruise control, leather steering wheel and gear stick, front centre arm rest, power rear windows, Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, 15 inch alloy wheels and darkened headlights.
The Punto Lounge, as the name hints, lifts the comfort to a new level, with climate control AirCon, leather seats with driver’s seat electric lumbar support, ambient lighting and darkened privacy glass, while the style is sharpened with a sports body kit, 16 inch alloy wheels, and chrome exterior highlights, all for just $22,990 plus on road costs.
Adding cream to this generous cake is factory fit SatNav for just $345 including GST.
“The Fiat Punto has everything that would be expected of a European car in terms of style, comfort and technology, but without the premium price and the equipment that owners want all sitting on the optional extra list,” says David Smitherman, CEO of Fiat Chrysler New Zealand. “At $98* a week the Fiat Punto sets a new small car value benchmark, not just for European small cars but for the class as a whole.”
Building on Fiat’s heritage of producing mould-breaking, class-leading small cars, the Punto is aimed at one of the most competitive and dynamic sectors of New Zealand’s new car market, where it provides an Italian alternative to the mainstream competitors in its segment.
Available in a spacious five-door hatchback bodystyle across three specification levels – Pop, Easy and Lounge – the Punto offers customers chic Italian style that is affordable, practical and safe.
The Fiat Punto is powered by an advanced 1.4 litre engine which combines energetic performance – it is, after all an Italian – with economy that can see it use as little as 4.6 l/100 km on the open road test cycle and 5.4 l/100km on the combined test.
With its modern Italian design, efficient Euro 5-compliant engine, rich equipment levels and impressive $98* a week finance package or $17,490 plus on road costs entry price, the Punto offers remarkable value for customers, drawing on its hard-won reputation in Europe as a stylish, technologically advanced small car.
Since the Punto nameplate was first introduced in 1993, more than 8.5 million examples have been sold in Europe, making it one of the leading vehicles in its class.
