Notes: Mango Tree Centre is the only facility in Tonga which supports the disabled. It is managed by a Korean Couple who have NZ citizenship. The have been managing the centre for 8 years. They receive no government support and the government does not have any facilities within its hospital and/or health networks. They support 200 families, but it is known that 1000 to 2000 families have disabled family members and this building would assist them to cater for more than the current 200. Disabilities include blindness, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries. They provide Braille classes, physiotherapy and all manner of other services for a wide range of disabilities.
