Team Asparona Forms Partnership With Syl Semantics
TEAM Asparona, a specialist provider of market-leading Enterprise Content Management-as-a-Service (ECMS) solutions today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Wellington-based software company Syl Semantics (Syl).
As part of its ContentWorX offering, the partnership will enable TEAM Asparona to provide Syl Search to customers including government agencies and commercial organisations with a requirement for advanced search capabilities.
TEAM Asparona’s General Manager Craig Hampson said, “TEAM Asparona was attracted to Syl because of their strong presence in the market. More importantly however, was the capability for Syl’s semantic search to enhance the ContentWorX offering with advanced ‘findability’.”
“Content Management typically focuses on retention of unstructured data but Syl’s semantic search enables effective findability of valuable information, enabling users to be more productive whilst empowering them to make accelerated, well-informed decisions. Ultimately, this will add enormous value to the customer’s investment in ECMS.”
As well as searching content and metadata properties, customers using the ContentWorX enhanced search function will be able to search for the context and meaning contained in documents, creating an unparalleled user experience. Users in a broad range of roles will be able to specify the precise meaning of search terms to increase accuracy, as well as using synonyms and other relationships to research broad concepts or topics.
Syl's Managing Director Sean Wilson said, "The partnership with TEAM Asparona means customers can access Syl Search as part of the ContentWorX cloud-based service with rapid delivery for government and enterprise customers alike."
ContentWorX is a market-leading ECMS subscription service, meaning clients always benefit from the latest version of the software. Customers are free from the need to maintain their own platform, invest capital in infrastructure and migrate to newer versions over time.
Sean Wilson said, “The strategic partnership with TEAM Asparona supports our core strategy of increasing Syl’s market penetration in our primary markets of New Zealand and Australia.”
