Valocity delivers choice to property data market for first time
For the first time in New Zealand there is choice in the property information market with the launch today of a new service and product, Valocity, by Data Insight.
Valocity is a new Kiwi-owned and built property information, market insight and valuation service for the booming New Zealand property market.
The service brings together a unique combination of data never before available in New Zealand. This includes property information at a household level containing the latest unconditional sales. This, in turn, enables visibility of market trends as they happen instead of waiting for settled council sales data (as is the status quo). The proprietary service also incorporates a significant amount of amalgamated data, so banks, insurance companies and clients looking for real-time property information can make decisions faster.
Carmen Vicelich, Data Insight’s founder and CEO says, “Organisations that need property data can now access the latest information in real-time for the first time. We are thrilled to offer the deepest, most level of insight into property data in New Zealand. Our specialist team has worked for months to deliver what we believe is a beautiful solution for those who need it most.”
“Valocity uses new cloud-based technology to deliver a flexible and tailored system so clients can create unique and branded views and reports.”
“The establishment of an alternative supplier of property data is long overdue to challenge a monopoly that inherited the data as a former State Owned Enterprise that now has the majority of its ownership based offshore,” says Ms Vicelich.
The team at Data Insight has doubled every six months since launching in April 2013 and is already working with every major bank and insurer in the New Zealand market.
“We are so proud to deliver so many firsts in data, technology, flexibility and innovation today. We’re excited about the future and looking forward to bringing greater choice, speed and flexibility in the provision and analysis of data,” says Ms Vicelich.
Valocity represents significant value for lenders, insurance companies, government departments and those in the property sector wanting faster, deeper insights. For lenders, Valocity enables seamless lending that allows regulatory compliance, as well as improved and superior customer service.
