Back-Roads Touring experiences bumper growth in New Zealand
Back-Roads Touring are rounding out the year with news today that the brand has experienced more than 30 per cent growth in the New Zealand market over the last 12 months.
The news comes off the back of the brand being awarded ‘Best Niche Wholesaler’ at the prestigious 2014 National Travel Industry Awards (NITA), acknowledging excellence in tourism.
Back-Roads Touring Brand Manager Hugh Houston says the growth with New Zealand customers is a testament to incredible support from within the industry and an increasing desire for travellers seeking a more tailor-made travel experience.
“It’s been a fantastic year for Back-Roads with the recent award win and an exceptionally busy summer period. Over the course of the year we have hosted over 7,000 travellers on 40 tours in over 20 counties – and New Zealand customers contribute greatly to those numbers.”
“The growth for Back-Roads Touring in New Zealand is very exciting for the team. It means the unique product we offer is something that people are enjoying and by sharing their experiences with friends and family, it is leading to more people discovering the product.”
“We have been creating tailor-made small group tours for over 25 years in the UK and Europe, and this growth gives us further motivation to continue delivering incredible experiences and continue the journey of building the brand.”
