Hamilton Accommodation Provider, Argent Motor Lodge, is a Finalist for Three Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards
The Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards finalists were announced at a special event held last night, with Argent Motor Lodge, based in Hamilton, figuring amongst the finalists for three awards.
“We are very excited and proud of our team and ourselves. To be a finalist for one award is an achievement, but to be a finalist for three left us completely speechless,” says Clare Gallagher, who is the co-owner of Argent Motor Lodge in partnership with her husband, Richard.
Argent Motor Lodge are finalists in the categories of; Hospitality Business of the Year, Health and Well-being Award and Emerging Business Of The Year.
Since it’s opening in February 2012, Argent Motor Lodge has quickly become the number one accommodation provider in Hamilton, and now it has the awards and nominations to prove it.
“Richard and I had clear goals when we opened Argent Motor Lodge over two years ago and one of those goals was to be a finalist for the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards,” says Clare
It has been quite the run of success for Argent Motor Lodge this year having won the AA Traveller Supreme Host of the Year award, gaining a four- star plus ranking from Qualmark and being ranked among the top 5 in the Travellers' Choice exceptional service award from Trip Advisor.
Nominations for awards are in no doubt thanks to Clare and Richards’s strong stance on providing the best quality accommodation experience for their guests. “‘Ok’ is simply not good enough, ‘average’ is not acceptable,” says Clare. “It has to be outstanding or it’s not the Argent way.”
Clare and Richard’s philosophy is for guests to “arrive as strangers and leave as friends” – a motto that have seen many of their guest return to stay.
Argent Motor Lodge is the perfect accommodation choice for those on corporate business, with hospital appointments, visiting friends and family at Waikato or Braemar Hospitals or simply on a leisure break.
The winners will be announced at the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on November 7th, at Claudelands Events Centre.
