LynnMall's newest Teen Ambassadors named
After making it through to the top 35, taking part in an afternoon of sandwiches and selfies with local rest home residents and then qualifying for the top 20, two of LynnMall’s most avid fans have made it to ambassador status: Amaya Lodge-Osborn (15 - 18 age winner) and Ena Gibb (11 - 14 age winner) have been named LynnMall’s newest teen ambassadors. As part of their prize, both Amaya and Ena will be invited to feature in LynnMall’s 2015 advertising campaign and given the opportunity to take part in Vanity Walk’s auspicious modelling school – something of which they are both excited about.
The final event held in-centre on October 11 was a wonderful day with many west Auckland locals stopping by to see girls from their local community take to the runway. There was a performance from chart-topping band Titanium, and guest judge Sammy Salsa was interviewed where he talked about his experiences with Beyonce's entourage and his work with her personal stylist!
In addition to the two category winners, a People’s Choice candidate was chosen via public vote on social media and announced on Monday 20 October. Lucinda Webber was named People’s Choice winner and was very excited with the result of the public vote. Not to mention, an additional prize was awarded because of the outstanding friendliness and caring attitudes displayed.
What is the LynnMall Teen Ambassador Search?
The LynnMall Teen Ambassador Search is aimed at west Auckland girls aged 11 to 14 and 15 to 18, with winners of each category invited to feature in LynnMall’s 2015 advertising campaign and given the opportunity to take part in Vanity Walk’s auspicious modelling school.
LynnMall's top 35 ambassadors took to the catwalk to strut their stuff and is aimed at drawing out teen ambassadors who truly reflect the family values synonymous with the spirited west Auckland region. More than a ‘skin-deep’ competition, Teen Ambassador Search organisers are excited to offer a contest that will celebrate local individuals with positive attitudes who are honourable, community-minded, reliable, sociable, fashion-conscious, confident and friendly.
