Voting for the 2014 Fonterra Elections Underway

VOTING FOR THE 2014 FONTERRA ELECTIONS UNDERWAY
Voting is now open for the 2014 Fonterra Board of Directors’ Elections and the Shareholders’ Councillor Elections in Ward 2 (Central Northland), Ward 7 (Piako), Ward 14 (Eastern Bay of Plenty) and Ward 22 (Northern Manawatu).
This year there are six candidates standing for the three positions on the Board of Directors. They are Gray Baldwin, Leonie Guiney, David MacLeod, John Monaghan, Garry Reymer and Grant Rowan.
Fonterra shareholders have the opportunity to meet Director candidates and ask questions at the 11 Directors’ Election Candidate Roadshow meetings which are scheduled to run from Tuesday, 28 October – Tuesday, 4 November 2014. The dates and venues for the Roadshow meetings are:

The voting period runs from Friday, 17 October to 10.30am on Monday, 10 November 2014. The results will be determined and announced after the close of voting. All successful candidates take office at the close of the Annual Meeting.
Voting is also open for the Annual Meeting resolutions. Shareholders are being asked to vote on six ordinary business resolutions and one shareholder proposal.
Shareholders can vote via internet, post or fax in respect of both the Fonterra Elections and Annual Meeting resolutions until 10.30am on Monday, 10 November 2014. Shareholders can also vote in person or via proxy for the Annual Meeting resolutions at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, 12 November 2014, being held at the Fonterra Research and Development Centre, Dairy Farm Road, Palmerston North.
