Penrose Substation update #11 – all customers restored
Vector wishes to advise that all customers are now restored.
However, there are two more cables to bring into service over this afternoon and evening.
While these cables are being brought back, customers are asked to conserve energy. Vector has also sought to lower the load on the affected part of the network by controlling hot waters. This will continue through into the evening.
As the evening peak loads come on, there may be some pockets of customers in Orakei, St Heliers and Remuera that may have to come off until the evening peak load drops off.
