Recall of Macro Almond Spread 250g
Tuesday, 30 September 2014: Countdown has issued a recall of Macro Almond Spread 250g sold in Countdown, FreshChoice and SuperValue stores nationwide.
The recall applies to all batches of this product and follows an earlier recall on Saturday of the Macro Brazil Almond and Cashew Spread 250g.
These products contain traces of peanuts and may pose a risk to customers with a peanut allergy if consumed. Consumers who are not allergic to peanuts can continue to consume this product.
Consumers should return the product to their nearest Countdown, SuperValue or Fresh Choice store for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
