Treble Cone Closing Day 2014
Sunday 28 September 2014
The South Island’s largest ski area Treble Cone (Wanaka NZ) has enjoyed fantastic weather and strong visitation to record its busiest ever Closing Day today.
Finishing the season with great snow cover in the Saddle Basin, the Summit Slopes open, and good snow cover on all mains trails in the Home Basin, coupled with a fine weather day has delivered a strong finish to the 2014 snow season.
Closing Day at Treble Cone attracts a strong local following with its very social vibe, fancy dress, live music on the Plaza, and ‘one last hoorah’ atmosphere.
The staff and management of Treble Cone Ski Area would like to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate Closing Day today, along with all who’ve enjoyed and supported Treble Cone throughout the winter, and look forward to a snowy winter in 2015.
