Conversant launches VoIP-ready broadband service
Conversant, a leading developer and provider
of cloud communications, has launched a broadband service to
enable its customers to make the most of VoIP.
C-Net is a business-grade broadband service optimised for running a voice service over and is available now to all Conversant hosted PABX customers. This removes one of the causes of unreliable call quality by ensuring Conversant customers have an adequate connection.
Launching C-Net is part of Conversant’s philosophy to make the move to cloud communications, such as VoIP and a hosted PABX, as seamless as possible for its customers, says managing director Cameron Beattie.
“Having a single provider for both their cloud communications and broadband services reduces complexity for our customers, since they only have to deal with one organisation for these essential services,” he says.
By choosing Conversant for their broadband service, customers get an internet provider which fully understands the requirements of their hosted PABX system, adds Beattie.
“We are able to provide holistic support for both services. This enables us to remotely diagnose and address any network issues, which may affect our customers’ voice services.”
To ensure a fast and effective set-up process for C-Net customers, Conversant can supply and provision broadband modems already configured to work with its hosted phone system.
C-Net is available across New Zealand on ADSL, VDSL and fibre connections, including UFB connections supplied by Chorus, Enable Networks and Ultrafast Fibre.
Pricing for ADSL plans range from $69 a month for 30GB of data to $140 a month for 600GB. VDSL plans start from $74 and range up to $189 a month for 1TB of data, while UFB plans start at $79.
C-Net is not available as a stand-alone service.
