One of the first Spark customers, Albert Chan, trades places with his emoji to receive his new iPhone 6 Plus at the Queen Street store in Auckland.

• Albert Chan, Auckland central resident was one of the first customers to receive the new iPhone 6 Plus in New Zealand this morning

• The Spark Queen Street store opened at 7.00am this morning

• Other flagship stores in Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin also opened their doors at 7.00am to welcome their first customers into store following emoji queues that have taken place throughout the week

• Over 500 customers (by way of their emoji) queued throughout the week and across the country to be some of the first in New Zealand to get their hands on the new iPhone 6

• This is one of the most highly anticipated devices launches that Spark has ever had

• The emoji queue for the Queen Street store in Auckland sold out under 12 hours (this kicked off last Friday)
