PledgeMe launches two equity campaigns
PledgeMe is proud to launch two exciting equity crowdfunding campaigns this week, PledgeMe CEO Anna Guenther said today.
“Two awesome Kiwi companies are calling on their crowds to invest in their businesses using our equity crowdfunding platform,” Ms Guenther said.
The two companies are Techvana, a museum devoted to New Zealand’s IT history, and H2 Explore, a Twizel-based hovercraft transport company catering to cyclists on the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail.
“We are excited to have two great businesses which have passionate founders who want to open up their companies to their crowds.
“Both Techvana and H2 Explore have worked hard to get to this point and have support networks lined up to back their crowdfunding campaigns.”
Ms Guenther said PledgeMe was the easiest way for companies to go out to their crowds and seek investment.
“PledgeMe isn’t making companies jump through hoops to get their campaigns going, we do our checks and then let the crowd decide.
“We work with the companies to ensure their documents, pitches and collateral are up to scratch then help them get their campaigns out there.”

H2 Explore
H2Explore is looking to cater to the expected 7500 cyclists doing the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail next year, by providing a unique transport solution across the Tasman River. A hovercraft will be used to ferry cyclists and tourists across the river and Lake Pukaki. The company has exclusive consent to operate in the area for 10 years and with tourist numbers booming this is an exciting investment opportunity.
