Summerhouse Monarch Sauvignon Blanc stands the test of time
The 2012 Summerhouse Monarch Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc stands the test of time by winning a GOLD medal at the 2014 New Zealand International Wine Show.
The Monarch is a barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc designed to improve with age and challenges the popular notion that Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is best consumed within a year or two of vintage.
Summerhouse Wine Co. owner Brendan Neylon says “our wines are designed to push the boundaries, to introduce the discerning wine drinker to new styles and varieties from Marlborough. Along with the barrel fermented Monarch we have a Verdelho, a Syrah and a Methode Traditionelle in the range. We’re helping to write the next chapter in Marlborough’s evolving wine story.”
The 2014 New Zealand International Wine Show is New Zealand’s largest wine show, attracting 2,130 entries, and was judged from the 8th to 10th September 2014 in Auckland
Summerhouse Wine Co. pushing the boundaries! Wines available via the winery and from select retailers. RRP $26.99.
