Recalled for Health Concerns
Wilson Consumer Products has announced that it will be conducting a voluntary recall on the Cotterill & Rouse branded; Chilli Jam 350g with a Best Before Code of 17.11.15-1, Beetroot Relish with Orange 300g with a Best Before Code of 17.11.15-1 and Tamarillo Chutney 300g with a Best Before Code of 19.11.15-1 due to a risk of glass contamination in these products.
This recall only affects the above products and their respective Best Before codes and it does not affect any other batches of Cotterill & Rouse branded Chill Jam 350g, Beetroot Relish with Orange 300g or Tamarillo Chutney 300g or any other Cotterill & Rouse branded products.
The best before code is located above the nutrition information panel on the product label and includes the product batch reference (-1).
We can confirm that all major supermarkets and food retail outlets throughout New Zealand, where any of these products would have been purchased, have been advised of this recall and that these batches are no longer in distribution.
If you have purchased any of these products, then do not consume them – instead return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
The company advises that there have been no reports of any injury however if anyone has consumed any of these products and has any concerns about their health then they should contact their doctor or seek medical advice.
